Born in Hong Kong, regularly receives acclaim for the great expressive strength of a lyrical baritone voice with rounded artistry. Caleb serves in churches regularly, besides individual engagements, Caleb serves churches in Hong Kong and China through joining MusiCall Ministries since 2003. Caleb is now serving as a Music Director at Tuen Mun Alliance Church, he is conducting the Christian Choir of Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Men’s Chorus of Shatin Methodist College. Caleb is a senior voice teacher and vocal coach at Qin Music Company and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been elected as a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).

Caleb is honored as the finalists in Kneisel Lieder Competition 2011 and 2012, Eastman Friends of Opera Competition 2012 and the district winner (New York) of the NATSAA Competition. He is the Champion of the 2005 Hong Kong Youth Singing Festival. He is the recipient of the Ralph Yoars Memorial Scholarship, Stone of Help scholarship and Departmental (Music Department, Hong Kong Baptist University) Scholarships enabled him joining the Siena Summer Session for Music and the Arts (SSMA) program in 2005. He also received scholarships and graduate awards to continue his studies at Eastman School of Music.

Caleb appeared in the Master Classes by Nicolas Cavallier in 2004, by Mariastella Di Lorenzo at SSMA in 2005 and by Mira Zakai and Martina Arroyo at Eastman School of Music Voice Department in 2010 and 2012.

Besides performances in recitals and Opera production, Caleb performed many sacred solos, J.S. Bach’s B minor Mass, St. John Passion, Cantata 22, 30, 47, 60, 70, 78, 80, 82 and 139, Christmas Oratorio, Magnificat, Buxtehude’s Jesu Meine Freude, Handel’s Ultrecht Te Deum, The Messiah, Israel in Egypt, H. Purcell’s Psalm 96, J. Haydn's Creation, Theresienmesse Mass, W.A. Mozart’s Missa Brevis in F, Mass in C, Requiem, A. Bruckner’s Requiem, F. Mendelssohn’s St. Paul, Elijah, L. Beethoven’s Symphony no.9-Ode to Joy, G. Faure’s Requiem, Brahms’s Ein Deutshe Requiem, Puccini’s Missa di Gloria, J. Stainer’s Crucifixion, D. Urrows's Exaltabo te to name a few. The solo career and collaborative eagerness brought him to Fort Worth, Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, Rochester, Toronto, Vancouver, Florence, Siena, Luzern, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Taipei, Sichuan, Beijing, Reunion, Mauritius, Cambodia, Bali, Jarkata, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Niigata, Fukuoka and Tokyo. He participated the local production of City Opera in French May 2010 performing Jupiter in Orphee aux Enfers and acted as Germont in La Traviata with Musica Viva in 2013. Caleb premiered the commissioned Chamber Operas at the Hong Kong Arts Festival 2013 and 2015, HY Chan's The Heart of Coral and Datong. Caleb was a member of Asian Youth Choir 2002 and 2009 under the batons of Hak-Won Yoon, Hisae Hasegawa and Chifuru Matsubara. He is now serving as a member of the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble since 2013.

Caleb performed with the Opera Hong Kong, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra, Ponte Singers, Die Konzertisten, Voices, Ossia, Eastman Philharmonia, Eastman-Rochester Chorus, Rochester Oratorio Society, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Mercury Opera.
