Alexander WONG

Alexander is an active and versatile collaborative keyboard performer. He holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (first class honor) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been awarded Chung Chi College’s Head List, Departmental prize and placed in Arts Faculty Dean’s List during his studies. His major mentors include Dr. Mary Wu, Jeffie Leung, Wong Kin Yu and Dr. Jean Barr. He has appeared in various master classes, including these given by Graham Johnson, Steven Isserlis, Kirill Gerstein and Tetzlaff Quartet. In 2014, he participated in the Hawai’i Performing Arts Festival as a collaborative pianist in the Voice Program. Alexander has collaborated with various Choirs such as Eastman School of Music Repertory Singers, Robert Westleyan College Chorale, Hong Kong Oratorio Society, Chinese University Chorus, Cantacore Society. Alexander is currently a Répétiteur at Die Konzertisten, MusiCall and Musica Viva (Sponsored by Hong Kong Arts Development Council’s “Music Artistic Internship Scheme”).
