李彥頤 導師 – 大提琴
Molly Li was born in China and studied cello from a young age at the Shenzhen Arts School and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She further received scholarships at the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and a full scholarship at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in cello performance from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore and a Masters of Music Degree from the Hochschule Fur Musik in Detmold in Germany. Her teachers included Li-Wei Qin (Tchaikovsky International Competition Prize Winner), Stefan Giglberger (Principal Cellist of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra) and David Smith. Molly Li has won many competitions including First Prize at the Beijing Conservatory Fourth Cello Competition (1996), Second Prize at the China Young Musician Competition in Shanghai (1997), First Prize at the Chamber Music Competition in Beijing (1998) and a prize for excellence at the Fifth Cello Contest of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing (1999). She has performed with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and on tour at the Pacific Music Festival in Japan under Bernard Haitink and Edo de Waart. Currently, Molly is a cellist at the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, as well as the founder and director of the Cellorando Cello Ensemble with Dr. Artem Konstantinov.
